Girls+ Outside (GO) is a program providing 320 K-12 girls from 10 Austin ISD schools with opportunities to learn and grow together through time in nature. Enhancing a sense of well-being and positively influencing pro-environmental behaviors are two primary goals. The program fosters nature connectedness and everyday wonder while putting great care into creating the conditions for social bonding/trust.

G+O is thoughtfully structured to support mentor/mentee relationships while honoring a diverse set of needs. G+O provides unique experiences that open pathways in young lives that positively influence their futures and connect them to an ecosystem of nature engagement opportunities.
